Overview

Come and enjoy learning how to work effectively with clients who present with Complex Trauma.

In this first unit we’ll discover what is Complex Trauma, the impact on the developing brain and what that looks like for our health in adulthood. We explore how neuroscience changed our approach to  working with complex trauma and clients, plus the different types of trauma, necessary to be able to effectively work with our clients.

We also walk through working with the duality of complex trauma, the living legacy, and how to help clients understand what this means, and the impact on their life, to help them recover without retraumatisation. What is a healthy model for complex trauma recovery? The three core concepts in  early developmental trauma and toxic stress help us to begin to navigate our healthy coach/client relationship.

Moving into the specific areas of the brain, body, soul and spirit impacted by complex trauma as an adult, we look at current approaches to recovery, what won’t and what will work for complex trauma recovery and then how we can use a brand new method and new model to help clients effectively work through their recovery.
